Allen-Bradley PLC-5 control system platform is now discontinued and no longer available. Support by the manufacturer is limited, and spare parts are becoming increasingly difficult to source. This introduces significant safety and financial risks, which are resolved through migration to a newer hardware platform.
To support the increased demand of water to the township of Penneshaw, ATSYS was contracted to complete the electrical and controls design and construct for the Penneshaw WTP Electrical and Controls Upgrade Project.
To improve the process efficiency of maintaining water levels at eleven different sites across South Australia, ATSYS was contracted for the PLC and SCADA control system works, of the Happy Valley Filtered Water Pump Station (FWPS) project. This process efficiency was improved by replacing legacy communication equipment, upgrading PLCs, installing new PLCs, and installing new HMIs at Happy Valley FWPS Site.
To improve the efficiency of grit and screenings removal and target treating projected peak inflow rates, ATSYS was contracted to complete the detailed design, construction, installation, and commissioning of the low voltage electrical and control systems for the Aldinga Wastewater Treatment Plant Inlet Works Project.
To improve trade waste processing and remove the need to redirect to other wastewater treatment plants, the Port Adelaide Relift Trade Waste Receival Station (PARPS) Project was initiated. ATSYS was contracted to design and construct new electrical and control systems for the PARPS VSD and Trade Waste Receival Station Upgrade.
